Last weekend I was at the beach with my husband and my two boys. My two-year-old and I were digging a hole, trying to dig it deep enough that water would come in on its own. Things were going fairly well until my two-year-old, trying to speed up the process, started filling his bucket with lake water and dumping it into the hole, pushing extra sand into the hole in the process.
