A vision years in the making is finally taking shape on Wellock Road, as the Pebbles to Rocks Childcare Centre begins its transformation from blueprint to reality. The groundbreaking ceremony held earlier this summer marked a major milestone for Estevan’s newest childcare initiative, led by Executive Director Karolina Tamulaitiene.

“It feels almost unreal,” Tamulaitiene shared in a recent interview. “Every time I walk past the site, I’m flooded with gratitude and electric excitement. It’s more than just construction, it’s the heartbeat of a dream coming alive.”

A poll posted to our homepage asked residents how they would describe the summer so far, with a total of 29 residents voting in the poll.

With 10 votes (34.48 per cent) were residents saying that they enjoy the sun while they can, followed by "great for gardens, garbage for plans" with eight votes (27.59 per cent).

In third place were residents wanting to see an end to the rain, with a total of six votes (20.69 per cent).
