It’s a show and shine so big that it spans two communities, and it’s back this year bigger and better than ever.
The Watrous Fun Run is a show that’s sure to delight car enthusiasts, but there is something for everyone young and old. The show goes on Saaturday, July 26 on Main Street in Watrous with the traditional Fun Run down to nearby Manitou Beach happening around 3 pm.

Estevan rallies around “Help Aubrey Walk” fundraiser with family BBQ and pancake breakfast
A pair of back-to-back fundraisers is bringing the Estevan community together this weekend to support a four-year-old girl named Aubrey Dyck and her journey toward walking independently for the first time.
Aubrey, who was born with extremely tight Achilles tendons, has never walked on her own. Now, with a surgery booked in New Jersey for September 2025, her parents Kimberley and Tanner Dyck are working to raise $90,000 to help cover the cost of surgery, travel, therapy, and recovery.

Selkirk artist writes birthday anthem for her mom rooted in faith
An independent artist from Selkirk, Man., has released a song in ode to her mother's birthday, filled with faith and courage.
"[This song] speaks to the women who are women of God," says Alicia Marie. "It speaks to women who are going through storms that nobody else may see."
Marie's song "Barbie's Anthem" was initially written for her mom.
