From cookie dough to community cheer at the Kiddie Sunshine Centre bake sale
The school-age students at the Kiddie Sunshine Centre Ave. location baked up some treats and whipped up some crafts for a successful bake sale yesterday morning (Aug 14th).
They were selling chocolate chip cookies, brownies, cutely decorated sugar cookies, cupcakes, lots of bracelets, iced tea and lemonade.

Ron Martens is the market coordinator for the new Neubergthal Farmers Market and touched on how the market finally came to be, "people have been growing gardens for years, decades... but nobody's come together in a farmers market kind of venue that I'm aware of here in the village to do this.
