Most of the crops are rated as good to fair with some crops reported as being in poor condition within the region. The main causes for poor crop conditions are due to wind and heat. Increased crop damage is being reported due to dry conditions.
Depending on the weather situation, producers will be looking to begin in-crop herbicide applications, monitoring insect pressure and moving cattle out to pasture.
