The Well of Plenty Fish Fry Fundraiser is back and happening this Thursday, April 24th at the Pembina Thresherman’s Museum. The event features a pre-order lunch and a drive-thru supper from 4:30 to 7:00 PM — with all proceeds going to support life-changing projects in Malawi, Burundi, and East Congo, Africa.

After a lifelong passion for storytelling and a creative spark fueled by a family birthday gift idea, David's first children's book, Rosalba Raccoon and Other Stories, is now available — and he's celebrating with a book launch on May 3rd at the Winkler Library.

"I've loved reading for a long, long time," David shares. "But it was the fall of 2023 when I needed to come up with a birthday present for my young nephew, and I thought, 'OK, this is the time.'"
