The Town of Diamond Valley is going to auction.
Well, not the town per se, but some of the town's equipment.
You can pick up a dump truck starting at $7,000 or a backhoe for $4,000.
They also have some snow-clearing equipment and a 2004 GMC Sierra 3500 truck with a plow and sander for only $3,000.

Light and Power working to get ahead of infrastructure issues
Swift Current City Light and Power is trying to get ahead of potential issues with the aging powerlines in town.
Specifically, the underground power lines that run through parts of the city are well past their prime, at 50 years old. Other parts in the power grid are being federally mandated to be replaced.
Darryl Tunall, director of Light and Power for the City of Swift Current, is hoping to build a relationship with a partner company that would be willing to assist the City in the event of a widespread failure.
Central’s Ben Ansell named to Youth Council
Twelve students from around the province have been named to the 2024-25 Youth Council, including Ben Ansell from Central Collegiate.
Youth on the council speak with the Ministry of Education about their experiences with the province’s education system and also provide feedback and ideas.

When Crime Stoppers was introduced in Saskatchewan, Lewry was determined to get the program before our Queen City rivals. Moose Jaw created its program in 1984, one day before Regina, making it the oldest program in the province.
Big Brothers Big Sisters hosting Rubber Duck Drop Fundraiser in Blackfalds
Cloudy with a chance of rubber ducks is the forecast for the Blackfalds region next weekend.
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Lacombe and District will be hosting its first annual Rubber Duck Drop Fundraiser on September 28 at Sterling Industries Park (soccer pitch).
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with the duck drop taking place at 2 p.m.
Executive Director Brianna Berthiaume explains that 1,000 rubber ducks will be dropped out of a helicopter and whoever's duck lands closest to the target will win half of the money raised.
New mortgage rule changes aim to help Canadians buy first home
On Monday, the federal government announced some changes for those trying to become homeowners.

Prairie Sky Co-op's Fuel Good Day a success for three organizations
Prairie Sky Coop held the annual Fuel Good Day on Tuesday at its gas bar locations in Weyburn, Milestone, Lang, and Beaubier, with 10 cents from every litre of fuel going to help support local non-profits.
The event raised close to $5,000 for three area organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters Weyburn, the Milestone and Rural Volunteer Fire Department, and the Southeast Regional Library's Lake Alma branch.
The funds will be split amongst the three groups.
Rocky Mountain House to not hold a by-election
The Town of Rocky Mountain House will not hold a by-election to fill the position of mayor.
Following the resignation of Debbie Baich in August, the position was left vacant, and Deputy Mayor Marley Capraro was appointed as acting mayor.
The town council agreed to request a by-election extension from the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Ric McIver.
Outlook RCMP responding to major collision on Highway #15
Outlook RCMP are advising caution after a serious collision on Highway #15.
Earlier today around 10:15 a.m., RCMP responded to the collision in the RM of Rudy.
No details have been released about the nature of the incident, only that traffic is being re-routed in both directions. This matter is under active investigation.
Motorists in the area should expect delays. Travellers can check the Highway Hotline for updates.
Tornado rips through southeast Saskatchewan in late-season twist
Southeast Saskatchewan had a tornado touchdown Wednesday afternoon.
Environment Canada received the report of the touchdown near Langbank from social media and is confirming the tornado, although it is still under investigation.
