St Pierre Jolys streets flooded due to heavy rains Tuesday morning
Heavy rain caused significant flooding across southeastern Manitoba, including in the Village of St. Pierre-Jolys.
Mayor Raymond Maynard noted the heavy rainfall resulted in overland flooding.

Olds resident charged with drug trafficking
On Aug. 31, Olds RCMP responded to a local hotel, during an ongoing drug investigation.
When inside the hotel room, officers saw a quantity of what was believed to be Fentanyl.
A male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and the room was secured.
A search warrant was later issued.
On Sept. 1, the Olds RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, Olds RCMP, Didsbury RCMP, along with the Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team (CLEAR), executed the search warrant.
They seized the following:
Man arrested north of Airdrie in hotel drug bust
Olds RCMP seized 560 grams of suspected fentanyl and arrested a 25-year-old resident of Olds during a drug investigation at a local hotel on August 31.
Mounties stated that they attended a room at a local hotel while continuing an ongoing drug investigation, where officers engaged with the room occupant.

The Manitoba government is supporting the $145-million development of a new Arctic char facility a short drive north of Winnipeg in Rural Municipality (RM) of Rockwood, providing more than 100 full-time jobs for Manitobans and growing the provincial economy, Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources Minister Jamie Moses and Agriculture Minister Ron Kostyshyn announced today.
Calgary water main is now being filled
The Bearspaw South Feeder Main is now being filled with water, a significant step in fully restoring water service for residents of Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding areas and lifting level four water restrictions.
"We have a significant amount of pipe to refill, and this stage will take three days and 22 million litres of water in total. This means that over the next few days, you'll notice that our water demand will increase by approximately seven million litres daily," said City of Calgary Capital Priorities and Investment Director Francois Bouchart.
