Music in the Park is back starting tonight.
Every Wednesday throughout the summer months, Lacombe and area residents can enjoy Music in the Park, featuring free live entertainment from local and regional musicians and bands.
Tonight is the music of Dean Ray.
You are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy the entertainment.
RCMP seek suspect last seen in Red Deer
Alberta RCMP needs your help in tracking down Jennifer Lynn Adshead, who is wanted for various crimes.
Adshead was featured in this week's Wanted Wednesday profile.
She was last seen in Red Deer and is also known to frequent Lacombe, Ponoka, Rimbey and Olds.
If you see Adshead, do not approach.

Downtown Lacombe construction begins
Construction has begun in the 2A parking lot between 49B Avenue and 49C Avenue in downtown Lacombe.
Work will be completed in phases to help maintain as much parking as possible throughout the construction period.
Businesses will remain open during all phases of work.
Carney says Canada will take 'some time' to respond to doubled U.S. metal tariffs
Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada will take "some time" on its response to increased U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum.
Tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum to the United States increased to 50 per cent on Wednesday after President Donald Trump followed through on his vow to double the duties.
On his way into the weekly Liberal caucus meeting in Ottawa today, Carney said Canada is in "intensive" discussions with the U.S. on trade.
Bank of Canada holds key rate at 2.75% as tariff uncertainty persists
The Bank of Canada held its benchmark interest rate steady at 2.75 per cent Wednesday as policymakers keep waiting for more clarity on how tariffs will impact the economy.
“Uncertainty remains high,” Bank of Canada governor Tiff Macklem said in prepared remarks after the release of the rate decision.
“At this decision, there was a clear consensus to hold policy unchanged as we gain more information.”
Economists and financial markets widely expected the second consecutive hold.
Delays on QEII Wednesday and Thursday
A note for drivers heading northbound towards Wetaskiwin, there will be delays Wednesday until around 5:30 pm.
Northbound lanes on the QEII between Wetaskiwin Rest Stop and Highway 13, crack sealing crews are working from 8:00am to 5:30pm.
The right-hand lane is closed with speed reduced to 80 km/h. Drive with caution and watch for crews.

Unplanned power outage south of Eckville
Fortis Aberta is reporting an unplanned power outage south of Eckville.
Crews are working on restoring power to the area near Highway 766. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time and Fortis says they are not sure when power will be restored.
The loss of power is affecting over 150 customers in the area.

June is a multicultural month
The month of June is full of culture with the recognition of Italian, Filipino and Portuguese heritage.
Italian Heritage Month is a time to recognize the community’s contributions, as people of Italian descent have been in Canada since the 1880s.
Canada’s first Italian community numbered around 2,000 people at the end of the 19th century.
Today, with more than 1.5 million people of Italian heritage, Canada is home to one of the largest Italian migrations in the world.
RCMP investigate fatal shooting of 20-year-old in Maskwacis
On Sunday, June 1 at approximately 5:23 a.m., Maskwacis RCMP received a report of a shooting at a residence in Samson Cree Nation.
Emergency responders arrived to find a dead 20-year-old male. He was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where his death was determined to be a homicide.
The deceased has been identified as Travis Jason Crier, who also went by the name Raven Crier.
“This is another tragic and senseless loss of a Four Nations community member,” said Inspector Richard McKay, detachment commander of Maskwacis RCMP.
