Estevan Comprehensive School is gearing up to host a summer hiring career fair aimed at connecting students with local businesses and organizations ahead of the busy summer season.
Principal James Jones says the event is designed to support students as they prepare for life after high school.
"We're always trying to help support high school students as they transition, not only through ECS, but out into the workforce," he said.

Efforts to keep Killarney Lake clear of zebra mussels starts with education
Killarney-Turtle Mountain is hosting and evening of information tomorrow, Thursday, April 10th with two Aquatic Invasive Species specialists from the Province. The seminar is to share more information about AIS, more specifically, zebra mussels, and how their infestation could affect Killarney Lake.

Mental health walk returns to Steinbach to raise awareness
A national walk raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention is coming up, and Steinbach is representing Manitoba.
"It looks funny because (there's) all these big cities, and then Steinbach, Manitoba. We are the Manitoba walk," says Marisol Pulido, a volunteer with the Sashbear Foundation, which is the organization behind the walk.
