On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the 54th Annual Juno Awards released their list of nominees for this year's Canadian music awards show. 

This year the Christian category was almost cancelled, alongside Reggae, and Children's Album of the Year, but after widespread advocacy from Canadian music supporters, they decided to keep these categories for the 2025 Junos. 

Over 800 churches around the world have come together to celebrate young adults with special needs in a "Night to Shine."

Noel Robinson, a UK-based Christian singer and worship leader, has had a deep connection with music from an early age. Growing up in a musical household, he was inspired by his father, who played guitar and sang hymns of faith.

Several churches in Winnipeg are gathering together for a night of worship and prayer.

On February 14, Methodist Missionary Chapel Canada is hosting "Breaking News Night."

Revd. Bamidele Oni says, "This is actually an instruction from the Lord, and it's the intention of this watch. The night is a night of prayer, worship, signs, and wonders."

This year's theme for Missionfest Manitoba 2025 was "How Shall They Hear?" and brought thousands of Christians together in Winnipeg. 

John MacArthur from Grace Community Church has been released from hospital after complications following a heart valve replacement. 

On January 5, staff pastor and church elder, Tom Patton said that MacArthur's recovery from surgery had been much slower than expected, with occasional setbacks affecting his heart, lungs and kidneys.

On February 7, church elder and executive director of Grace to You, Phil Johnson said MacArthur is at home recovering. 

Philadephia Eagles fans are waking up feeling prideful after their team defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX.

The Chiefs were trying to make history by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowls, but those dreams were quickly crushed after two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes was intercepted twice and sacked six times by Philadelphia's defence. 

Steven Curtis Chapman released a new single, "Forever the Love of My Life," all about his wife and just in time for Valentine's Day. 

"I started writing a song a while ago for my bride of 40 years (as of this past October! WOW!)," says Chapman. "I finally finished it and played it for her on her birthday back in November…and she liked it…A LOT!"

Lauren Daigle is filled with joy after performing in the pre-game show of Super Bowl LIX.

Daigle announced in November 2024 that she would be performing "America the Beautiful" alongside Trombone Shorty in her home state, New Orleans.

"It's real. So incredibly thankful for the chance to sing alongside Trombone Shorty at the Superbowl LIX!," said Daigle on a post on Instagram. 

That performance took place this evening and blew away the massive crowd.
