Brought together by God through mistaken text message, Thanksgiving tradition continues

Almost a decade after accidentally sending a text message to a stranger, Wanda Dench has plans to celebrate Thanksgiving with Jamal Hinton for a ninth straight year.

In 2016, Wanda Dench of Mesa, Arizona, sent a text message to what she thought was her grandson's phone, inviting him over for Thanksgiving dinner. However, her grandson had recently changed his phone number and instead, she messaged Jamal Hinton, who was sitting in class at Desert Vista High School.

Taylor Cain Matz welcomes new baby

Popular Christian band, CAIN, has welcomed a new member to their team.

On Nov. 21, Taylor Cain Matz and her husband, Steven, introduced their son, Steele Taylor Matz, to the world. 

"Our little buddy came a month earlier than we planned, but God’s plan was so much better than mine!!!" said Taylor in a post on Instagram. "He has lived up to his name."

Former Victoria's Secret Model turned Jesus follower in remission

It's been a year since Nicole Weider was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and as of one week ago, she is officially in remission.

The former Victoria's Secret model who gave up her modelling career to follow Jesus announced the good news on her Instagram page, saying she is thankful to be alive. 

"Today I mark one year as a breast cancer survivor!!" said Weider. "I give all the glory to Jesus."

Scott Hamilton helps fight cancer through figure skating and Christian music

Christian, professional figure skater, and cancer survivor Scott Hamilton recently hosted the Skate to Eliminate Cancer event where Cece Winans and Steven Curtis Chapman performed live. 

"Had an amazing night sharing music and hope while supporting the incredible work of the Scott Hamilton Cares Foundation," says Cece Winans on Instagram. "Grateful to be part of something so meaningful."

Terrian announces departure from TobyMac and Diverse City

After almost a decade of touring and being a part of TobyMac and Diverse City, Terrian is moving on.

"Last night, I played my very last show as part of TobyMac and Diverse City," said Terrian in a post on Instagram. "Though I'm sad, I'm immensely grateful."

Terrian has spent the last eight years with the band and is beyond thankful for the growth that she has experienced.

The Chosen announces official release date of Season 5

5&2 Studios has announced the official release date of Season 5 of The Chosen.

The popular show will hit theatres in the weeks leading into Easter, with the first two episodes of The Chosen: Last Supper released on March 27, 2025.

The entire season will be rolled out in three parts during a four-week run in Canada and the U.S. - Part One (episodes 1-2), Part Two (episodes 3, 4, 5), and Part Three (episodes 6, 7, 8).

10-year-old's bold faith while battling cancer remembered in new film

The ministry I Am Second is releasing a second edition of a powerful documentary starring a boy from Texas who had faith that inspired millions. 

Ethan Hallmark of Midlothian, TX, passed away a decade ago after battling stage 4 neuroblastoma. Ethan was diagnosed when he was 10 and succumbed to the cancer by age 13. Before he passed, Ethan recorded a quick testimonial video with I Am Second and the video went viral. 

"You could really see something special in him, and it drew people in," says Matt Hallmark, Ethan's dad.
