From the audience to Mary's mantle: An unexpected journey in the Manitoba Passion Play

Alina Goncharova's story with the Manitoba Passion Play is a testament to the transformative power of theatre and the profound impact faith can have on everyday life. Unlike many who dedicate years to honing their craft, Alina's journey began as a captivated audience member, utterly enthralled by the play's raw emotion and biblical accuracy. This initial spark ignited a desire to be a part of something bigger, even if it meant simply directing lost theatregoers to the parking lot.

Partner Profile: Rexall serving clients better at Northside Medi Clinic

If you haven’t noticed already – Rexall has moved!

Now located in the North Side Medical Clinic building, the staff are looking forward to serving their clients better.

“We’re the first line of contact for patients,” says Chalane Baker, Pharmacy Manager. “So we’re excited to be working alongside physicians again. It’s the best place to provide patient care.”

Rexall has been without in-clinic physicians since 2016, which has created barriers to patient care and awareness of Rexall’s location.

Small Business Heroes: Cleaning Service 7 makes life easier for everyone

“It was all new for us – new country, we had come with no plans. We were like whatever life throws at us, we’re going to accept it and we’re going to move forward. And then everything shut down into panic mode.”

This is from Mrinmoy and Niby Moulick, the husband-and-wife team behind Cleaning Service 7.

The couple did not move here to start a cleaning business. Back in India, Niby had been a teacher, and Mrinmoy a real estate agent. They arrived in Canada in 2019, just before the pandemic struck.
