A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Radville, Saskatchewan and the Interment will follow at Radville~Laurier Cemetery, Radville, Saskatchewan. A memorial service for Agatha Dueck Loewen nee Penner will be held Friday, November 15th at 2pm at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at 11:30am at Kronsweide Cemetery.

The celebration of life for Wes Sawatsky will be held Saturday, November 16th at 1pm at Seeds Church, Altona with private interment prior to the service at Altona Cemetery.

Eldo Mervyn Schmidt
Eldo Mervyn Schmidt of Moose Jaw passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 78.
Born in Gravelbourg, he grew up on the family farm near Ernfold, SK. He attended Charlotte Rural School to grade 7, attending high school in Morse where he achieved his grade 12. He came to Moose Jaw in 1965 and worked several jobs, the longest one being for the Moose Jaw Public School board for 32.5 years, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed travelling and camping with his wife Marion. His hobbies included model building, stamp and coin collecting as well as metal detecting in his earlier years.

Garry Kulferst age 78 of Hazlet, SK passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Swift Current, SK. Garry resided with his wife Linda (Hay) and family for 52 years in Hazlet, SK. He had a strong sense of community and served countless hours volunteering. He served as a Council member, Mayor, First Responder, Firefighter, Fire Chief, Community Board Member, Recreation Board Member and was part of several service clubs over the years besides his full time job. He never hesitated to help out a neighbor or friend.
