Sylvia Marie Asmundson

On Thursday, April 20th, 2023, Sylvia Marie Asmundson (nee Harder), passed away peacefully at the age of 75 at the Douglas Campbell Lodge in Portage la Prairie, MB. As a child of God, she has been welcomed into glory by her husband Paul Asmundson, stillborn son, parents, William and Katherine Harder, brothers, William (Bill) and David, and sister Judith.

Judith Ann Tully (Todd)

It is with very heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Judith, at home with her loving husband Robert Tully by her side on April 21, 2023 after a long illness.

Judy was predeceased by her daughter Amanda Barber, her son Edward Dack, her parents Ethel (Garnham) and John Norbert Todd, brother Larry Todd and grandson Dack Hull.

It was on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at 10:30 am that Linda Joyce Kitchen became absent from her body to be present with the Lord. 

Ernest “Blaine” Utech

Blaine Utech was born to Robert and Alice Utech on Sept 22, 1966 in Dauphin, MB. He was raised in Winnipegosis most of his life. His parents were Ministers in Winnipegosis,  they moved to Portage la Prairie in 1985 and pastored a little church on the corner of 5th Street and Lorne Avenue.

Amanda Dayle Green

     It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda (baby girl) on March 27, 2023. She passed peacefully with her family by her side.

Thomas “Russell” Thomas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear son, brother, and cherished friend Russell Thomas on March 7, 2023, at the Portage District General Hospital with family and friends by his side.

Robert Benedictson – July 18th, 1939 to March 16th, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father. He died peacefully with his family by his side.

Bob is survived by his wife Rose, daughters; Tanis (Cam) Scott and Trina (Jarett) Reid, grandchildren; Tanner MacDonald and Jenna Reid, siblings; Ernie (Eva) Benedictson, Judy Monkman, Elwyn (Sharon) Benedictson, and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Janice Kathleen Thomas

     Janice Kathleen Thomas entered into rest on March 9, 2023.  Jan was born in Russell, Manitoba to Hartley and Lilian McDonald, on March 4, 1940.  As a military family, they moved  often before finally settling in the Portage la Prairie area. 

Rowland “Rolly” Brooks

Peacefully on March 6, 2023, Rowland “Rolly” Alfred Brooks, passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 87 years. 

PHYLIS HILDA CRAIN

Beloved mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother

Passed away peacefully, surrounded with the love of her family at home in Elie MB, on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the age of 91, following a lengthy illness. 

Born in Monquart, Carleton Co., N.B. on March 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Vincent Crain, and Alice Lena (Wright) Crain.
