Kindersley court hearings for December 17
In the Dec 17 court proceedings, preliminary hearing dates were confirmed for William Jones on June 10th and 11th, 2024, in a case stemming from a fatal collision in Kindersley on April 27, 2024.
Jones faces four charges related to the incident:
23-year-old charged in Oyen after theft, crash, and multiple offenses
Oyen RCMP have charged a male with multiple offences
On Dec. 14, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Oyen RCMP responded to a theft of a motor vehicle in progress in the town of Oyen. While the suspect attempted to flee, he hit a parked vehicle, causing significant damage to both vehicles. Thankfully, no one was injured. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
As a result of the investigation, Jessey Lang, 23, was identified and arrested early the next morning and has been charged with the following:

The accused, Mohammad Masum and Sohel Haider, were arrested in June 2023, and are each charged with one count of human trafficking. Masum also faces three charges of sexual assault.

Heavy docket for Biggar Provincial Court on Wednesday
A total of 54 individuals appeared in Biggar Provincial Court on Wednesday, as the Biggar RCMP shared a laundry list of charges in their September 2 report.
One of the early cases on the docket was the first appearance for a Biggar individual after they were charged with assault back in July.
