It's going to be a vibrant summer in Steinbach, popping with colour, and teeming with life as Summer in the City comes back to town—including Cultures in the City.

Tessa Masi, executive director of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce gives a glimpse into what to expect from this year's Cultures in the City, which will be from June 13 to 15.

Agape House is taking a creative approach to promoting mental health by sharing simple facts and helpful resources. 

Lisa Fast, Outreach and Housing Counsellor at Agape House says the idea came after she received an email from the Healthy Living Team at Southern Health about the “Love My Community” challenge happening throughout May. 

Engines will be revving and mud flying as the Miami Tractor Pull & Mud Bog/Car Show Weekend rolls back into town on Saturday and Sunday, delivering two days packed with horsepower, family fun, and down-home excitement.

Organized by local enthusiast Russ Suderman, the event is now in its fourth year and continues to build momentum, attracting people from across Manitoba—and even beyond.

All ages of ball players will be in Kerrobert on Saturday for a full day of action at the local diamonds.

The three diamonds at the Kerrobert Fairgrounds are set for nonstop action on Saturday from 10:30-4:30. After the various levels of baseball and softball finish up their games, adults will take the field for slo-pitch games starting between 6:30 and 7:00. 

Baseball is set for Diamond #1, softball on Diamond #2, and then a mixed bag of the youngest divisions will be part of the action on Diamond #3.
