Stats Canada: Saskatchewan continues to lead the nation

Saskatchewan’s wholesale trade is leading the nation according to Statistics Canada. Today’s numbers indicate the province was first in month-to-month growth in Canada for wholesale trade.

“Saskatchewan continues to have the food, fuel and fertilizer our growing world needs,” Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison said. “Wholesale trade is another key component to our thriving economy. This work allows us to continue building and protecting the province’s economic future and make us the best place to live, work and raise a family.”

Do I need Facebook or Google to get my local news?

Social media and search engine giants, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google have decided to no longer share Canadian news links after the Online News Act, or Bill C-18, was passed in June. 

Does this mean the end of access to local news for you?

Festival of Words to feature Bob McDonald, author interactions & street fair

The 2023 Saskatchewan Festival of Words is set to be bigger, more interactive and more inclusive than ever before.

Among the headline authors at the July 13th to 16th event in Moose Jaw will be Bob McDonald, the longtime presenter of CBC Radio’s Quirks & Quarks who’ll be reading from his latest book The Future is Now on the mornings of the 14th and 15th.
