Young missionary couple shot and killed in Haiti
A young couple who was serving as missionaries for Missions in Haiti Inc. were tragically killed Thursday evening.
Davy and Natalie Lloyd, who were full-time missionaries in Haiti, were attacked by a Haitian gang and both killed.
New chaplain for Hanover Fire Department
A longtime firefighter from Grunthal will soon take over the role of chaplain for the Hanover Fire Department.
At Wednesday's Hanover Council meeting, councillors voted in favour of creating this new position. Hanover Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says this is something they have been exploring for the past year. He notes the Hanover Fire Department has 75 members and their chaplain will look after the needs of firefighters and their families.
'Operation Valiant Knight' ended with 27 child predators arrested

The Tim Tebow Foundation, alongside other authorities, has arrested 27 people involved in child sexual exploitation in Florida.
"These men, arrested during a sting called, 'Operation Valiant Knight,' are accused of using the internet to sexually exploit children," says the Tim Tebow Foundation on Instagram. "In partnership with Operation Light Shine and the INTERCEPT Task Force, we are grateful that we were able to support this effort to fight child exploitation."

Benjamin Hylden was a typical teenager who loved sports and dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player one day. This all changed when his world was flipped upside down on Good Friday in 2007.
While on his way to an appointment, Hylden was speeding down a dirt road in Park River, North Dakota, when he lost control of his vehicle. The car flipped several times and Ben was ejected, slamming headfirst into a half-frozen field.
