A young couple who was serving as missionaries for Missions in Haiti Inc. were tragically killed Thursday evening. 

Davy and Natalie Lloyd, who were full-time missionaries in Haiti, were attacked by a Haitian gang and both killed. 

A longtime firefighter from Grunthal will soon take over the role of chaplain for the Hanover Fire Department. 

At Wednesday's Hanover Council meeting, councillors voted in favour of creating this new position. Hanover Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says this is something they have been exploring for the past year. He notes the Hanover Fire Department has 75 members and their chaplain will look after the needs of firefighters and their families.

The Tim Tebow Foundation, alongside other authorities, has arrested 27 people involved in child sexual exploitation in Florida. 

"These men, arrested during a sting called, 'Operation Valiant Knight,' are accused of using the internet to sexually exploit children," says the Tim Tebow Foundation on Instagram. "In partnership with Operation Light Shine and the INTERCEPT Task Force, we are grateful that we were able to support this effort to fight child exploitation."

The Chosen has brought the Bible to television screens for the last few years and has been a hit with people all around the world, including country music artist Blake Shelton.

Elevation Worship has officially hit another milestone with their single 'Praise.'

This week, the single, featuring Brandon Lake, Chris Brown and Chandler Moore, hit No.1 status across four radio charts, including Mediabase Christian Audience, Mediabase Christian AC, Billboard Christian Airplay, and Billboard Christian AC.

A total of 12,000 people were recently baptized over two days in California in what is being called the nation's largest baptism event to date. 

"You can smell another Great Awakening in the air like rain before it hits," Pastor Mark Francey, founder of the event, shared in an interview with CBN. "God lit a match yesterday! If God can do this in the church in California, it can — and it will — happen in the rest of America!"

The deaf community will soon be able to view the story of Jesus' life in a brand new way. 

JESUS: A Deaf Missions Film is coming to theatres on June 20 and is the first of its kind. Viewers will be able to see Jesus' life and death portrayed the entire way through using American Sign Language (ASL).

Deaf Missions is a ministry that focuses on sharing the gospel through ASL. They worked alongside GUM Vision Studio to create the life of Jesus on the big screen for deaf viewers. 

A Christian council governing almost 3,000 evangelical nonprofits is hoping its new guidelines will help diminish the ever-increasing moral failings of those in leadership. 

The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) has noticed that the greatest threat to finances the church faces are due to leadership making bad moral decisions. Because of this, the ECFA is making the biggest changes to their standards in 45 years. 

Benjamin Hylden was a typical teenager who loved sports and dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player one day. This all changed when his world was flipped upside down on Good Friday in 2007.

While on his way to an appointment, Hylden was speeding down a dirt road in Park River, North Dakota, when he lost control of his vehicle. The car flipped several times and Ben was ejected, slamming headfirst into a half-frozen field. 

"The pain was insane," said Benjamin. "This was that moment where life became real."
