The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires offence came alive early Tuesday night powering them past the visiting Notre Dame Hounds with ease.
Five goals in the opening frame for Swift Current helped them to cruise to a 7-3 victory at the InnovationPlex over the Hounds. Gull Lake's Sam Kirwan led the way for the Legionnaires in the win scoring a goal and adding two assists.
Sask Women's U18 team books quarterfinal spot in national championship
Team Saskatchewan defeated Alberta 5-2 in the final preliminary-round game at the 2024 National Women’s U18 Championship.
Three players represent Weyburn on Team Sask, forward Addison Greve and Kiah Shields, and goaltender Amy Swayze.
They move on to the quarter-finals this Thursday.

Terriers deal three players to BC
The Portage Terriers have trimmed their roster, dealing three players to different BC squads.
The Terriers have dealt Forward Jonah Power Smith to the Pacific Junior Hockey League's Ridge Meadows Flames, Forward Reyd Langan to the Kootenay Internation Junior 'A' Hockey League's (KIJHL) Sicamous Eagles, and Goalie Jacob Armstrong to the KIJHL's Nelson Leafs. All three are 2006-born.
The Terriers will receive player development fees for all three players. The trio saw limited action with the Terriers this season.
Boychuk lacing up to play Sweden today
Cochrane's Riley Boychuk is lacing up for his second game in the 2024 U17 World Challenge.in Sarnia, ON. for Team Canada White that will determine their placement in the preliminary round.
Team White won their opening game against Czechia, 6-2, and today take on the Swedish squad, the other team in their pool. Sweden also won their opening game, and the winner of today's game will top the pool.
Games time is 5:30 p.m. MST.
Team Canada Red has already advanced to the semifinals by beating the American and Finish teams in their pool.
First webisode of Flyers "The Inside Edge" is out now
The High River Flyers' first webisode of their documentary series, "The Inside Edge" was officially released on Friday (Nov. 1).
Head coach Jeff Gardner, assistant coach Tom Bradbury, and team captain Wout Rehorst gave exclusive interviews in the first webisode.
The released webisode of the Flyers touches on the playoff series between the Carstar Okotoks Bisons and the Flyers from last season, along with what the team is building on this season and in the future.

Football season concludes in Moose Jaw

Three teams reside here in Moose Jaw: the Central Collegiate Cyclones, Peacock Collegiate Tornados, and the Vanier Vikings. We sat down with the head coaches of each team to get their take on the season.
Central Collegiate Cyclones (5A 12-A-Side)
The Cyclones were one of the best teams in the league with a 6 - 2 record to close out the regular season. After placing second place in the standings, the Cyclones prepared themselves to make a playoff run.
Blue Bombers sell out Western Final
Princess Auto Stadium is going to be full of the CFL's loudest fans on Saturday as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Western Final.
The Bombers shared on Instagram that the game is sold out. "Saturday's Western Final is sold out!!"
While kickoff isn't until 5:30 p.m., the team shared that the tailgate will be open early. "Tailgate opens at 2 p.m.! Come watch the Eastern Final with friends!!"
