'Growing stronger together' WeyStrong hosts cancer survivors at flower basket event
Women's cancer support group, WeyStrong have been active in the community since their launch last summer, holding two events in the past week.
According to WeyStrong member Lisa Vick, the organization hosted local cancer survivors at the greenhouse at the Co-Op home store; as part of their "growing stronger together' event last Monday. There, Jon and Jacquie from Roughbark Acres led those in attendance in creating flower baskets. In total, 24 baskets were made.

Classic Car Show raises $11,000 for Buhler Active Living Center
When the community comes together, a lot can happen. $11,000 was raised at the Classic Car Show for the Peter George Dyck Villages, on the second floor of the Buhler Active Living Centre. Held on June 14th at the green space on 400 Memorial Drive in Winkler, and organized by Chomper Giesbrecht, a car enthusiast himself, the event drew in over 75 participants from all over the Pembina Valley and beyond to show off their classic vehicles.

RCMP members have cleared the scene and traffic is moving as per usual on the Perimeter.
It is unknown right now the exact number of vehicles involved in the collision, but there were no serious injuries in the incident.
