Thursday Thunder Player of the week is Grady Hauk

This week, the Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 18-year-old rookie Grady Hauk. This is the second time he has been selected for Thursday Thunder Player of the Week.

Hauk, who is from Airdrie grew up playing hockey within the city with teams like the Airdrie Xtreme U15 AAA, AC Avalanche U16 AAA.

The Airdrie Techmation Thunder dropped a pair of games to North Division opponents in the Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) this weekend. They lost to the Mountainview Colts 3-2 on Friday in overtime and 5-3 to the Rocky Rams on Saturday.

Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is Zach Jones

Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 20-year-old Zach Jones.

Born and raised in Airdrie, Jones is in his third year with the Thunder. He has played for other Airdrie teams like the Airdrie Lightning U18 AA and Airdrie CFR Bisons U18 AAA.

Last weekend the Thunder had two games, one against the team sitting comfortably at the top of the North Division, the  Sylvan Lake Wranglers, which the Thunder lost 5-2. Their second game of the weekend was against the team sitting at the bottom of the North Division, the Ponoka Stampeders, which the Thunder crushed 13-1.

Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is Justin LeGrandeur

Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 21-year-old Justin LeGrandeur.

From Airdrie, LeGrandeur grew up playing for teams in Airdrie like the Airdrie Lightning U15 AA, AC Avalanche U16 AAA and Airdrie Lightning U18 AA.

After being off since December 17th on the Heritage Junior Hockey League's (HJHL) Christmas break, the Thunder played a pair of games this weekend against the Three Hills Thrashers and Red Deer Vipers, winning both of them.

Thursday Thunder Player of the week is Jeremy Jobin

This week, the Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 20-year-old Jeremy Jobin.

Originally from Ontario, Jobin moved to Airdrie seven years ago and has been playing hockey within Airdrie for quite some time. He has played for teams like the AC Avalanche U16 AAA and Airdrie Lightning U18 AA.

For the Airdrie Tecmation Thunder, the Christmas break is a good time for the team to regroup as they currently have a record of 5-17-2. Just this past weekend they lost two more games, one to the Coaldale Copperheads 4-1 and one to the Sylvan Lake Wranglers 7-2.

Thursday Thunder Player of the week is Tyson Sandhu

This week, the Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 18-year-old Tyson Sandhu.

Sandhu grew up playing hockey within Airdrie with teams like the Airdrie Xtreme U15 AAA, AC Avalanche U16 AAA and the Airdrie CFR Bisons U18 AAA.

This past weekend's games were two more losses for the Airdrie Techmation Thunder as their record now sits at 5-15-2. Saturday they lost to the Coaldale Copperheads 7-6 and lost Sunday 4-0 to the Medicine Hat Cubs.

A pair of one-goal losses to Heritage Junior Hockey League North Division opponents this past weekend have dropped the Airdrie Techmation Thunder record to 5-14-1 on the season, leaving them in sixth place in the North. Friday they lost 3-2 to the Three Hills Thrashers and lost Sunday 4-3 to the Mountain View Colts.

Thursday Thunder Player of the week is Calan Blondeau

This week, the Thursday Thunder Player of the Week for the Airdrie Techmation Thunder is 18-year-old rookie Calan Blondeau.

This is the second time Blondeau has been named player of the week.

From Airdrie, Blondeau has played hockey within Airdrie for many years, including with the Airdrie Xtreme U15 AAA, AC Avalanche U16 AAA and Airdrie CFR Bisons U18 AAA.

This past weekend the Thunder only played one game on Friday (November 24), beating the Ponoka Stampeders for a second straight game 8-2.

Thursday Thunder player of the week is Joel Taniguchi

This week, the Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 19-year-old Joel Taniguchi.

A rookie on the team who just recently signed with the Thunder to play full-time for them is from Airdrie and grew up playing hockey in the minor league system since he was eight years old.

This past weekend the Thunder played two games, one Friday night (November 17) against High River but sadly lost 4-1. Saturday (November 18) night's game was a completely different story as they beat Ponoka 12 - 1.

Thursday Thunder player of the week is Tanner Chapman

This week, the Thursday Thunder Player of the Week is 21-year-old Tanner Chapman.

Born and raised in Airdrie, Chapman has been playing hockey in Airdrie for most of his life. He spent his younger years playing for teams like the Airdrie Lightning and U15 AA, AC Avalanche U16 AAA and Airdrie CFR Bisons U18 AAA.

This is the second time this season Chapman has been named Thursday Thunder Player of the Week.
