Local players named to Sask First Top 160 tournament
There will be a strong local content of U15 hockey players that will be taking part in the Sask First Top 160 tournament later this month.
80 2010-born players from the North regions were selected from the regional camp held in Aberdeen this past weekend (Dec.6-8).
Jeffery Straker to bring his festive favourites to Humboldt on Dec.19
A special Christmas show will arrive in Humboldt next Thursday, December 19th.
Jeffery Straker will be performing A Very Prairie Christmas at the Legion Hall. Lady Friday will be the opening act for the evening.
Straker has been very busy touring around the province with his Christmas performance including a pair of shows at Casino Regina and another two concerts at the Bassment in Saskatoon.
Broncos blank Hounds in Wynyard
A trip to the Wynyard was the cure for the Humboldt Broncos recent struggles against the Notre Dame Hounds. On Wednesday night the Broncos blanked the Hounds 4-0, snapping a two-game skid against Notre Dame.

St. Mary's Villa to get a new tub chair lift with donation from Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament
The St. Mary’s Villa Foundation received an assist from the Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament.
On Tuesday, the Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament made a presentation to the Villa Foundation for a cheque for $13,000.

Broncos acquire F Zach Bansley from Drayton Valley in exchange for F Gabriel Filion

On Tuesday, they made a deal with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), with the Broncos acquiring 19-year-old forward Zach Bansley while sending 20-year-old forward Gabriel Filion in return.

On Monday, they made their annual presentation with money they were able to raise at the store to a variety of groups.
This year, the Good Neighbour Store was able to donate to 61 different organizations for a total of $463,000.
