CAA Saskatchewan begin 2025 worst road campaign
If there’s a road that you think is in poor condition, CAA Saskatchewan wants to hear from you.
Once again, CAA Saskatchewan has launched their Worst Roads Campaign.
Over the next four weeks, individuals are encouraged to submit their nomination for the that they feel are a safety concern for motorists.
Between April 8-29, you can nominate and vote for the worst road.
Saskatchewan government launches campaign to recruit physicians from the United States
The Saskatchewan government alongside the Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency (SHRA) have launched a digital campaign aimed at recruiting physicians from the United States to consider working in Saskatchewan.
Included inside of the pitch are current career opportunities, upcoming physician-focused information webinars and the promotion of benefits including such as competitive compensation, lower cost of living, work/life balance and stability offered in the province.
Rhythm returns as the 27th edition of the Onstage Dance Festival begins on Thursday
A springtime staple in Humboldt returns on Thursday.
The Onstage Dance Festival returns with its 27th edition at Jubilee Hall.
President Krissi Barnes says this year’s event will be the biggest one for the festival since the COVID pandemic as 700 dancers from different dance studios will be participating.
Preparations begin for the 2025 edition of Streetfest
Following a successful return last year, planning is underway for the 2025 edition of Streetfest in Humboldt.
President of the Humboldt Downtown BID Alyssa Hergott says they’re beginning to look for vendors for this year’s event. Soon they will be searching for volunteers and musical entertainment for the summer celebration.
Warm weather on the horizon but it's too soon to say winter is over
At the end of the week, the packed mountains of snow should melt into a flowing river, but it might be a good idea to keep the snow shovel handy.
Temperatures are below the seasonal average to start off the week, as we will be hovering around the zero-degree mark for the next couple of days, but Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Justin Shelley says it will get warmer by the weekend.
HCAA District Archery Results

2017-18 Humboldt Broncos Day in Humboldt
The City of Humboldt has proclaimed “2017-18 Humboldt Broncos Day” to honour the lives lost and the ongoing effects felt by those affected from the 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos tragedy.
Citizens are encouraged to take a moment on April 6th at 4:50 pm, the approximate time of the tragedy, to reflect and honour the memory of those lost.
A taste of Broadway comes to Leroy with Aladdin Jr.
The glitz and glamour you would see on Broadway will be present in Leroy tonight as the Leroy School presents Aladdin Jr.
A lot of work has gone into the production, says Director Danielle Bilodeau who teaches at Leroy School. She says after a decision was made to go ahead with the performance in September, inside of the PAA (Practical Applied Art) classes, students would spend an hour every second day working on set design, costume design, practicing choreography and music.
